Partizan Mozzart Bet has officially excluded Dylan Osetkowski from its plans until further notice, following a report by Meridian Sport.
“The Spanish Anti-Doping Agency informed the Anti-Doping Agency of Serbia today about the punishment of basketball player Dylan Osetkowski, stating that the athlete is under suspension until December 22, 2026, for violating anti-doping rules,” the Serbian outlet disclosed, citing details shared by ADAS.
CELAD reopened his case in July, shortly after his move to Partizan. Osetkowski reportedly tested positive for marijuana during the 2023-24 season with Unicaja. While the violation typically carries a one-year ban, the process was significantly delayed by multiple appeals and was initially dismissed before being revisited.
The Belgrade-based club confirmed the San Diego native will remain sidelined until further notice and intends to announce further steps in due course.
Starting with the matchup against Real Madrid at the Belgrade Arena later Friday, Osetkowski is no longer available for the team coached by Joan Penarroya, after averaging 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.0 assists, and 0.1 blocks per contest over 25 appearances in the 2025-26 Regular Season. The sanction carries over to other competitions, including the AdmiralBet ABA League and Serbia’s Radivoj Korac Cup.
At 9-18, the team sits six games behind the Play-In Showdown zone with 11 fixtures remaining in the Regular Season of Europe’s premier club competition.
Misko Raznatovic’s statement
“CELAD (Spanish anti-doping agency) on June 5, 2025, in case CSA 4/24 issued a decision to suspend proceedings against Dylan Osetkowski.
From that moment until today, neither the player nor his Spanish counsel have had any contact with the case nor received any documents, and they remain completely unaware that proceedings have been reopened. Consequently, they have not participated in the proceedings, nor has a defense been presented.
Today, a new decision was delivered, dated December 19, 2025, under an entirely new number 12/25, imposing a 12-month suspension on the player. The player, I, and our Spanish colleague, Mr. Crespo, are more than shocked by the issuance of a decision in proceedings of which the player had no knowledge.
Of course, the necessary legal steps have been taken, and I have received assurances from Spain that the issue will be resolved in a very short period, just as it was with the first proceedings. Unfortunately, this positive outcome will not be able to compensate for the player’s absence from tonight’s game and the ABA League derby match this weekend.
In addition to the complete incomprehensibility of this procedure by the Spanish doping agency, it is even more incomprehensible to me that a decision made on December 19 is delivered and enforced nearly 2 months later—and on the day of a match against the Spanish champions. I sincerely hope that this absence will not affect the outcome of tonight’s game, and even more sincerely, that we will soon see Dylan back on the court.”
