Fenerbahce Beko has officially reacted to the scuffle on the court that followed a buzzer-beating win over Panathinaikos Aktor at the Telekom Center Athens on Friday evening.

Shortly following the incident marking Round 28 of the 2025–26 EuroLeague Regular Season, Cem Ciritci, a Board Member of Fenerbahce SK specifically responsible for the basketball division, revealed that the team has filed official complaints.

“Dear Fenerbahce fans, there is nothing to worry about, all our players are fine. Necessary precautions have been taken. We have filed complaints regarding what happened after the game. We will follow up on the situation. Thank you very much to our fans and everyone who came to support us today,” he wrote on a post shared on X.

By prevailing in the Greek capital, Fener improved its league-high record to 20–7, putting it two games clear of second-placed Olympiacos. With 11 fixtures remaining on the 38-game regular-season schedule, the Istanbul outfit is well on track to secure homecourt advantage in the best-of-five series for a ticket to the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens, presented by Etihad. Last year in Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena, the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius claimed Europe’s premier club competition title for the second time, following its 2017 triumph in the Sinan Erdem Dome.

Also defending its Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi championship, while currently reigning as Cup and Presidential Cup holders as well, Fenerbahce leads the ongoing BSL Regular Season with a 17–2 W-L tally, one game ahead of second-placed Besiktas Gain.
