Valencia Basket has reached an agreement to extend the contract of Luis Arbalejo as sporting director of the men’s team for two more years, through 2030.
Since his arrival, Luis has been a key part of a project that continues to grow, and under his leadership it’s modernizing a structure that is constantly evolving.
Beyond his work building the roster, the sporting director leads one of the areas that best represents the Club’s digitalization process, the Scouting and Data Analysis Department.
Born in Pontevedra in 1982, Luis Arbalejo joined Valencia Basket after working as a Scout Consultant for the NBA franchise Utah Jazz and as sporting director of Lucentum Alicante, having previously accumulated extensive experience in Spanish basketball with clubs such as Baloncesto Torrelodones and CAI Zaragoza.
After joining the project in 2023, the sporting director now extends his commitment until 2030, which will mark his seventh season with the Club.
