Olympiacos will face Žalgiris in Kaunas on February 25 without their two top performers of the season: Sasa Vezenkov and Nikola Milutinov.

Both were left out of the squad due to injuries sustained during the Greek Cup.

Vezenkov left the final against Panathinaikos with a back strain, while Milutinov broke his thumb in the semifinal versus Marousi. Although Milutinov played through the final, the team has opted to rest him for full recovery.

Vezenkov and Milutinov lead the EuroLeague in PIR, averaging 23.4 and 20.6 respectively. This will be Vezenkov’s first absence this season and Milutinov’s third.

On the positive side, Cory Joseph returns after a thigh injury sustained on February 7, giving coach Giorgos Bartzokas four point guards in the 12-man roster for the first time this season.
