Maccabi Tel Aviv has officially signed 26-year-old Israeli point guard Amit Ebo to a one-and-a-half-year contract.
Ebo, who grew up in Maccabi’s youth system and made one senior team appearance in 2016/17, comes from Boulazac in the French league.
Coach Oded Katash praised Ebo as “a tough, versatile guard who will give us additional depth in a long season.”
Ebo expressed excitement about returning to his home club.
“I will do everything I can to help the team achieve its goals and am grateful for the chance to wear the yellow jersey again.”
Over his career, Ebo has played in several Israeli clubs, including Hapoel Eilat, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Maccabi Ashdod, and Ironi Ness Ziona, and spent recent seasons in Slovakia, Lithuania, and France.
