After three consecutive losses, Virtus Bologna returned to winning ways.
Dusko Ivanovic’s team survived Barcelona’s late comeback attempt and recorded a much-needed 85–80 home victory.
The Catalan side turned the game around entering the final two minutes, with Nicolas Laprovittola knocking down the go-ahead basket to make it 80–79. However, Alen Smailagic responded from the free-throw line, and Carsen Edwards sealed the win with consecutive two-pointers in the closing moments.
Edwards led the scoring for the winning side with 22 points, while Smailagic added 19. Luca Vildoza contributed 10 points, along with seven assists and five steals.
On the other end, Kevin Punter stood out with 27 points. Toko Shengelia added 16 points and seven rebounds, while Nicolas Laprovittola finished with 14 points and 12 assists, recording a double-double.
After this result, Barcelona is tied with Crvena Zvezda and Zalgiris Kaunas between the 5th and the 7th spot with a 17-12 record, while the winning side improved to 13-16.
