The season in Monaco is proving to be more than complicated. Spanoulis’ team, in addition to the financial problems it has faced in recent months, is also having no luck with injuries.

According to Nice Matin, Nikola Mirotic is dealing with a plantar fascia injury and is out indefinitely. This type of injury can be treated in several ways. If you choose not to have surgery, you’ll need to rest and will be out of action for four to six weeks. If you opt for surgery, you’ll miss the rest of the season because the average recovery period is four months.

This injury leaves Monaco with only 10 healthy players at the moment: Mike James, Elie Okobo, Alpha Diallo, Nemanja Nedovic, Terry Tarpey, Matthew Strazel,  Jaron Blossomgame, Juhann Begarin, Daniel Theis, and Kevarrius Hayes after the departure of David Michineau.

Monaco is currently in ninth position in the Euroleague with a record of 16 wins and 14 losses.
