Monaco is going through a rough patch, fielding only nine players due to injuries following the departure of coach Vassilis Spanoulis.
With Manuchar Markoishvili leading the team from the bench, they defeated Olympiacos last week. In Round 32, the Roca Team overcame a 10-point deficit in the final quarter to secure a valuable 98-93 road victory over Anadolu Efes.
Jaron Blossomgame, Alpha Diallo, and Matthew Strazel spearheaded the Roca Team with 17 points each. Juhann Begarin added 12 points, while Elie Okobo and Daniel Theis contributed 10 points apiece. Mike James and Nikola Mirotic were out.
For Anadolu Efes, Sehmus Hazer led the way with 26 points. Saben Lee added 13, Rolands Smits 12, while Cole Swider and Isaia Cordinier each scored 11 points, and Jordan Loyd chipped in 10.
Monaco trailed 73–83 in the final period but went on a 14–2 run to flip the score. Anadolu Efes fought back but couldn’t reclaim the lead, as the visitors held on to improve to 18–14 in the EuroLeague standings.
