Omari Moore will remain with Valencia Basket. The club announced today the renewal of the American player’s contract, which was set to expire this summer. He will stay at the Roig Arena for the 2026-27 season.
Official statement from Valencia Basket: “Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with the American point guard/shooting guard with a North Macedonian passport, Omari Moore (1.98m, Pasadena, California, 09/18/2000, 25 years old), to extend his contract with the club for another season. He will remain with our first team for the 2026-27 season.
This guard, who played college basketball at San Jose State University, arrived in the summer of 2025 from Darussafaka Basketbol Istanbul. In his first experience combining EuroLeague and Liga Endesa, he has played 57 games so far, averaging 9.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for a performance rating of 9.9. He was a key player in the team’s Supercopa Endesa victory, which kicked off the season. Prior to joining Valencia Basket, Omari had 46 games of professional experience in Canada and Turkey. Moore faced the challenge not only of making his debut in European competitions, but of doing so in the top continental competition. And in his EuroLeague debut, he has so far averaged 9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for a performance rating of 9.4 in just under 19 minutes of play. He improves on these numbers in the Liga Endesa, where he is the team’s fifth-highest rated player with 8.9 points (shooting 36% from three-point range), 2.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists for a performance rating of 10 per game.
