De Colo out with partial tear in left calf, likely to miss EuroLeague Playoffs

Nando De Colo is out of action for an indefinite period after suffering a partial tear in his left calf.

The French star of Fenerbahce was injured during the Turkish Championship match against Bursaspor and is expected to miss the remaining regular season games in the EuroLeague, and he is likely to miss the EuroLeague Playoffs as well.

Fenerbahce has issued a statement regarding this situation:

“Our player Nando De Colo sustained an injury to his left calf during our team’s match, Fenerbahçe, against Bursaspor on March 29. After detailed examinations, our athlete was diagnosed with a partial tear, and treatment has begun. We wish Nando De Colo a speedy recovery and hope he returns to the team as soon as possible.”

De Colo joined Fenerbahce from ASVEL during the season, and it was clear that he was one of the key players for Sarunas Jasikevicius, who relied on the experience of one of the best players in EuroLeague history.
