Bayern Munich prevailed on the road against Virtus Bologna

Bayern Munich beat Virtus in Bologna (85-80), improving their record to 16-20, after a fun-to-watch contest.

David McCormack, with 24 points and eight rebounds, was the star of the night, while Andreas Obst had 11 points with just one made three-pointer in seven attempts.

Still, after a tied first half at 43, Bayern led for most of the second, and when Virtus finally got the 75-73 lead with three minutes left, the guests closed the night with a 12-5 run.

Matt Morgan had a night to remember with 28 points and even made it a three-point game (85-83) with 16 seconds left.

However, Neno Dimitrijevic, who had a total of 11 points for Bayern, made two free throws, eight seconds before the final buzzer, and the game was over.
