Oded Kattash will continue his work at Maccabi Tel Aviv, as he has extended his contract with the club for another three years.

This was announced by the Israeli giant this Wednesday, and everything was confirmed by chairman Shimon Mizrahi.

“I am happy to announce that after 4 seasons in which Oded Katash held the baton of the coach at Maccabi Tel Aviv, including about three seasons of tough and challenging games in which the team held its home games outside of Israel – in Belgrade, due to the security situation, it was only natural and necessary that Oded, who even grew up at the club, would continue in his role as the team’s head coach for at least the next three seasons.”

Since there was a meeting of desires from both sides, the way to signing the agreement was quick and efficient. The club sees the issue of continuity as very important and will do its best for the players in the team as well. We wish him great success in leading the team in his future at the club.”

As the season nears its end, Maccabi holds an 18-17 record in the EuroLeague and is fighting for a spot in the Play-In. In the last three games, they will play away against Paris, and then in Belgrade against Hapoel and Virtus.
