Anadolu Efes achieved a victory in the 36th round of the EuroLeague, defeating Partizan in Istanbul with a score of 79-72 after overtime.

Shane Larkin played for the first time since the 12th round and scored nine points for his team, including some crucial three-pointers in regulation time.

Jordan Loyd was the best with 24 points, several of which came in the closing moments, while Vincent Poirier added 17 points along with eight rebounds. Nick Weiler-Babb also performed well with six points and 12 assists. On the other side, Shake Milton had 12 points, one more than Sterling Brown and Carlik Jones, while Isaac Bonga had 10.

In a match that began with a minute of silence due to the passing of former Partizan coach Dusko Vujosevic, Efes secured a victory in their last home game in the EuroLeague this season.

Carlik Jones sent the game into overtime with two free throws four seconds before the end of regulation (65-65), after which Poirier couldn’t secure a win for his team at the buzzer. However, the Turks played better in overtime, remained calm at the free-throw line, and thus achieved victory.

Anadolu Efes remains in 19th place with a record of 11-25 and will visit Dubai in the next round. On the other hand, Partizan is in 15th place with a record of 15-21, and the defeat in Istanbul ended their six-game winning streak. In the next round, they will host Zalgiris.
