Panathinaikos got the job done in the final round of the EuroLeague regular season.
Ergin Ataman’s side cruised past Anadolu Efes at OAKA Arena with a convincing 97-62 win, securing seventh place in the standings.
As a result, Panathinaikos will host Monaco in the Play-In showdown, with the winner advancing to face Valencia in the playoffs.
Nikola Rogkavopoulos led Panathinaikos with 24 points, shooting an excellent 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. Kendrick Nunn followed with 18 points, while Mathias Lessort and Kenneth Faried added 14 each, with Lessort also grabbing seven rebounds. Kostas Sloukas controlled the tempo with eight assists.
For Anadolu Efes, Jordan Loyd was the top scorer with 15 points, while Şehmus Hazer followed with 13. Doğuş Mutaf added 10 points, and Vincent Poirier recorded eight points and a team-high eight rebounds. Efes struggled offensively, particularly from long range, finishing just 5-of-25 from three-point territory.
