Olympiacos took a 2-0 lead in the EuroLeague Quarterfinal series, as they defeated Monaco in the second game in Piraeus with a score of 94-64.

Sasha Vezenkov was once again the top scorer with 21 points and seven rebounds, Evan Fournier added 16 with seven assists, Shaquielle McKissic had 11 and Thomas Walkup also scored in double figures with 10.

Nikola Milutinov was in foul trouble from the start and ended the game with only four points and four rebounds, while the Greek team celebrated with just two points from Tyler Dorsey.

On the other side, Kevarrius Hayes scored 11 points, while Alpha Diallo and Mathew Strazel had 10. Mike James finished the match with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists but was ejected at the end of the first half.

Just eight seconds before the break, James received one, then a second technical foul, gesturing a money sign towards the referees, who showed him the way to the locker room in the game watched by Novak Djokovic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kyle Kuzma.

However, this did not have a significant impact on the result. At that point, the hosts already had an incredible +28 (59-31), Monaco managed to stabilize and briefly cut the deficit to 16 points (72-56), but Olympiacos went on another 15-0 run and ultimately won with a score of 94-64.

The third game of the series, which Monaco must win to extend it, will be played on May 5th.
