Ergin Ataman and Pedro Martinez, the coaches of Panathinaikos and Valencia, were ejected during the third game of the EuroLeague quarterfinal series.
The chaos that has been brewing for some time between the two coaches, and which also involved Dimitris Giannakopoulos, the president of Panathinaikos, escalated during the third game.
Towards the end of the third quarter, the two coaches got into a verbal altercation near the sideline, and eventually, Damir Javor showed them the way to the locker room.
Even then, the situation did not calm down, as Ataman wanted to continue the argument with the Spaniard, but in the end, Mathias Lessort was forced to calm his coach down.
