DJ icon Dimitri Vegas will present a bold creative concept titled ‘The Big Bang!’ before the champion-crowning fixture of the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens, presented by Etihad.

Per the press release: “The stage is set for an unforgettable fusion of sport, music, and storytelling as global electronic music icon Dimitri Vegas has been announced as the headline artist for the opening ceremony of the Championship Game at the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens presented by Etihad on Sunday, May 24.
Under the bold creative concept “The Big Bang!”, the opening show will unfold as a spectacular five-act journey tracing the origin and evolution of the best European basketball. Designed as a powerful explosion of energy, the performance will blend music, visuals, and emotion to capture the spirit of the game at its highest level.
The two-time World number 1 DJ in the Mag Top 100 DJs poll (2015 and 2019) will bring the narrative through the four elemental forces—earth, air, fire, and water—each symbolizing the intensity, diversity, and essence of basketball.
At the heart of the performance lies a tribute to those who shape the game: the finalists on the court and the fans in the stands. Both will be celebrated as essential forces behind the enduring legacy of the EuroLeague, reinforcing the deep connection between competition and community.
Adding a powerful symbolic moment to the ceremony, legendary figures of the game will present the Championship trophy, representing the continuity and transmission of European basketball’s heritage across generations.
