Olympiacos won the EuroLeague for the 2025/26 season by defeating Real Madrid 92-85 in the grand Final at the Telecom Center.

Evan Fournier scored 20 points and led his team to victory, Alec Peters had 16, Sasha Vezenkov 12, while Thomas Walkup also scored in double figures with 10 points.

On the other side, Trey Lyles was the best with 24 points, but he scored 21 in the first half. Mario Hezonja had 19 points, while Andres Feliz contributed as well with 13, but missing the crucial three pointer.

Despite playing without three centers, Real’s players opened the game brilliantly, taking a 15-3 lead after a series of three-pointers. Olympiacos managed to come back, but Lyles had an answer for every series, scoring 21 points with five three-pointers by halftime.

However, Georgios Bartzokas’ team went into the break with a two-point lead (46-44). A great drama unfolded in the second half, with both teams exchanging leads, and the decision came in a dramatic finish.

After Hezonja’s three-pointer, Real tied the game at 80-80, but Olympiacos responded with an 8-0 run, sealing the match in their favor.

Real managed to make the match dramatic by closing the gap to 88-85 with a series of points, and after an offensive rebound, they had a chance to tie the game through Feliz. However, Andres missed, and Oly eventually secured the victory.

After Fenerbahce won the title in Abu Dhabi, Olympiacos returned to the European throne for the first time since 2013, when they defeated the same rival in the grand final.
