Lonnie Walker IV is expected to be a candidate for an NBA return this offseason, according to NBA insider Marc Stein.
Stein reports that the 27-year-old guard has an NBA out clause in his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv that remains valid until July 15. League sources expect Walker to receive interest from NBA teams during that window.
The seven-year NBA veteran returned to Europe last season after a brief stint with the Philadelphia 76ers, signing a two-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv that includes NBA exit clauses.
Before joining the Israeli club, Walker also spent time with Žalgiris Kaunas during the 2024-25 season, helping the Lithuanian side win the King Mindaugas Cup before returning to the NBA.
