Panathinaikos AKTOR has officially announced the signing of Brancou Badio, with the Senegalese guard putting pen to paper on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old joins the Greens after a career-best campaign with Valencia Basket, averaging 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in the EuroLeague while helping the Spanish club win the Liga Endesa title. He also lifted the Spanish Super Cup with Valencia in 2025.
Before his time in Valencia, Badio played for Barcelona B, Skyliners Frankfurt, and Manresa, after beginning his career in his native Senegal.
An established member of the Senegal national team, Badio has won two AfroBasket bronze medals. At the 2025 edition of the tournament, he averaged 19.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists, shooting 43.5% from three-point range, as Senegal finished third.
