On Thursday, it became clear that Tarik Biberovic is officially leaving Fenerbahce, where he has been since 2018, after joining from OKK Spars.
Biberovic will be trying his hand outside of Europe and the EuroLeague for the first time, with his next club being the Dallas Mavericks.
He bid farewell to the fans and the club with an emotional message on Instagram.
“I never imagined this moment would come. I’ve never written a farewell message before. Now, as I write these lines, it feels like whatever I say will fall short.
Since the day I arrived here, I’ve experienced so much and learned a lot. Wearing this jersey, fighting for this emblem, and playing in front of these fans has always been a great honor for me.
We laughed together, we were sad together, we fought together. I sincerely thank everyone who supported me from day one to the last, who always made me feel their love.
Fenerbahce was not just a club for me. I found a family here, and I created memories that I will never forget for a lifetime.

Dallas confirms Tarik Biberovic signing
Dallas has now officially announced the signing of Tarik Biberovic, completing the move that brings the 25-year-old to the NBA after eight seasons with Fenerbahce.
The Mavericks acquired Biberovic’s rights from the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a six-team trade earlier this week before finalizing his contract on Friday. While the financial terms were not disclosed, Dallas has now formally welcomed the Turkish international, who leaves Europe after an outstanding spell in Istanbul.
Biberovic spent the last eight seasons with Fenerbahce, where he developed into one of the EuroLeague’s premier shooters, knocking down 42.3 percent of his three-point attempts. During his time with the club, he won the 2025 EuroLeague title, four Turkish League championships, five Turkish Cups and was named the 2026 Turkish Cup Final MVP, closing a memorable chapter before embarking on his NBA journey with the Mavericks.
