Besiktas extend coach Dusan Alimpijevic until the end of the 2027-28 season

Beşiktaş have officially announced a contract extension with head coach Dusan Alimpijević, keeping the Serbian tactician at the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The Turkish club praised Alimpijević for earning the trust and support of the Beşiktaş community since taking charge ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, expressing confidence that the partnership will continue to bring success.

Alimpijević has overseen a remarkable rise at Beşiktaş, guiding the club back to the EuroLeague after securing qualification for the 2026-27 season. The extension reinforces the club’s long-term commitment to the Serbian coach as it prepares for its return to Europe’s top competition.

The contract extension comes amid an ambitious summer for Beşiktaş ahead of the club’s return to the EuroLeague. The Turkish side has already strengthened its roster with the additions of Furkan Korkmaz, Scottie Wilbekin, Jaylen Nowell, DaQuan Jeffries, Mady Sissoko and Metecan Birsen, signaling its intent to be competitive upon its return to Europe’s premier club competition.
