Eurohoops reached out to Olympiacos regarding the report about the small forward from the Dominican Republic, and the EuroLeague champion denied offering Garcia a two-year contract worth three million annually.
All of this was first reported by San Antonio Spurs reporter Dusty Garza, who wrote on his X account that Olympiacos offered Garcia three million annually and a two-season contract.

It is also added, as was known, that the interest of the Olympiacos for the player existed since last year and a proposal of 2 million dollars was made, which the player rejected in order to stay with the Spurs.
After not being selected in the 2024 NBA draft, Garcia played for the Mexico City Capitanes. After that, he played in the G League for the Salt Lake City Stars, then again for the same team in Mexico, while in the 2025-2026 season he played for the San Antonio Spurs and their affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
