Fenerbahce continues to shape its roster ahead of the 2026-27 season. The yellow-dark blues have brought back their former player Sertac Sanli after a one-year break, signing the experienced big man to a one-year deal.

Sanli, who wore the Fenerbahçe jersey in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons and played a part in the 2025 EuroLeague championship, spent last season at Besiktas.

The Turkish center, who was also a EuroLeague champion with Anadolu Efes in 2021, has had a very lengthy career. It all started at Galatasaray, and after several loans, he moved to Trabzonspor, then Besiktas before joining Anadolu Efes.

His first club outside of Turkey was Barcelona, where he played for two seasons. From there, he went to Fenerbahce, briefly to Dubai and Besiktas, before returning to Fenerbahçe once again.

Ignas Sargiunas Joins Fenerbahce

On the day when Sertac Sanli’s return was confirmed, Fenerbahce secured another signing for the upcoming season.

Ignas Sargiunas, a recent player of BC Rytas, with whom he won the Basketball Champions League last season, is the new member of Fenerbahce.

As the Turkish club announced, an agreement with the 27-year-old guard has been reached for a 2+1 season contract.

Sargiunas has also played for Zalgiris, then for BC Prienai, Medi Bayreuth, and Neptunas before joining Rytas two seasons ago.
