As expected, Juancho Hernangómez continues with Panathinaikos until 2030, following the announcement of his contract extension, something that both he and Dimitris Giannakopoulos had previously hinted at, and Eurohoops also reported.
The international Spanish power forward, who will turn 31 on September 28, has already played three seasons with the “Greens,” having also won the EuroLeague trophy in 2024.
Panathinaikos’ post on Instagram: “Wear your jersey, Uncle Juancho. The show must go on, as you said from day one! Our own Juancho Hernangómez STAYS exactly where he belongs. At his home!”
“Because some bonds are meant to last a lifetime. For many more days TOGETHER, until 2030!”
In the season that just ended, Juancho played in 44 EuroLeague games, averaging 8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and a 12.3 PIR in 24:27 minutes of play per game.
