Aleksej Pokusevski is set to become a free agent after mutually agreeing to part ways with Partizan, according to Eurohoops sources.
The Serbian forward still had one year remaining on his contract, but both sides agreed to activate an opt-out clause, bringing his stint with the Belgrade club to an end.
The move has since been made official by Partizan. The black-and-whites also thanked their former vice-captain and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
Pokusevski, the No. 17 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, is expected to attract significant interest, per Eurohoops sources. At just 24 years old, several clubs are already monitoring his situation, believing he has yet to reach his full potential.
The versatile forward joined Partizan ahead of the 2024-25 season following his NBA spell.
During his first season with the black-and-whites, Partizan captured the ABA League title—its record eighth regional championship—as well as the Serbian League crown, ending an 11-year wait for the domestic trophy.
