Luca Vildoza is in the final stages of negotiating a deal with Partizan and leaving Virtus Bologna.

It’s a move that is expected to turn a lot of heads, since Vildoza played in the past for Crvena Zvezda.

The 30-year-old point guard had signed a three-year contract with the Italian club last summer; however, the deal included opt-out clauses.

Virtus turned the page with new coach Alex Mumbru, and Vildoza also has a very good offer from Partizan, which changed his plans.

As Spanish journalist Chema De Lucas wrote on X, Vildoza’s move to Partizan will make history since not only was he a member of Zvezda, their Serbian arch-rivals in the past, but also he has been part of the Greek “eternal” rivalry, playing both for Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, winning the EuroLeague with the Greens.
