Barcelona announced the signing of British forward Tosan Evbuomwan on a two-year contract running through June 30, 2028.
The 25-year-old, 2.03-meter forward will begin his first European campaign after dividing his professional career between the NBA and the G League. He has made 50 NBA appearances and played another 99 games in the developmental competition.
Evbuomwan arrives after finishing his latest G League campaign with the Greensboro Swarm. He averaged 17.4 points over 10 regular-season appearances before adding 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in the playoffs and earning G League Finals MVP honors.
Born in Newcastle, Evbuomwan spent his college career at Princeton from 2019 to 2023. He entered the professional ranks without being selected in the NBA Draft and subsequently played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.
His G League career also included spells with the Motor City Cruise, Ontario Clippers, Long Island Nets, Westchester Knicks and Maine Celtics.
