Real Madrid continues to examine names for the shooting guard position, and after pursuing Lonnie Walker, the club has another option: Lester Quiñones.

According to Spanish journalist Chema de Lucas, the Dominican player, a star for the Osceola Magic and one of the faces of the G League, is a name of interest to Pedro Martínez’s team. The club and player are currently in talks.

Quiñones, 25, developed with the Santa Cruz Warriors and Orlando Magic’s affiliate team, becoming one of the most interesting players outside the NBA.

Being Dominican, he wouldn’t count as a non-EU player in the Spanish league, which helps Real Madrid continue building a roster capable of competing for everything in Europe.

Following the Summer League, Quiñones has emerged as a shooting guard to watch for several EuroLeague teams.
