Paris Basketball officially announced the departure of Yakuba Ouattara following two seasons with the club.

The 34-year-old guard joined Paris from Monaco in the summer of 2024 and immediately became an important member of Tiago Splitter’s rotation, contributing with his defense, three-point shooting and experience.

During his first season, Ouattara helped Paris win both the French League and French Cup while also reaching the EuroLeague playoffs.

Paris fell short of defending its domestic title in the 2025-26 campaign, but Ouattara delivered a strong performance during the playoffs before completing his spell in the French capital.

After two seasons, Yak leaves as a legend,” the club wrote in its farewell message. “Thank you for your professionalism, legendary speeches, daily determination, positive attitude and everything you brought to Paris Basketball.

Ouattara, a three-time French champion, will continue his career away from Paris during the 2026-27 season. His next destination has yet to be announced.
