Tony Parker has set an ambitious long-term goal for ASVEL despite the uncertainty surrounding the French club.

My dream would be to win with ASVEL one day and become NBA Europe champion. That would be huge,” Parker said in an interview with Legend.

The four-time NBA champion also views the proposed competition as a major business opportunity.

“I think the best investment, if everything goes well, will be ASVEL with NBA Europe,” he added.

Parker recently became ASVEL’s head coach while retaining a leading role in a project designed to establish the club among Europe’s elite.

However, those plans suffered a significant setback when the projected budget was reduced from €59 million to around €24 million after an investment agreement was not completed on time.

Sylvain Francisco, Armoni Brooks and Daniel Theis have already left the club, while the future of ASVEL’s remaining summer signings is also uncertain. Parker previously acknowledged that difficult “choices have to be made” but maintained that the club’s long-term project remains intact.
