Keenan Evans is very close to returning to Zalgiris Kaunas, the team where he achieved significant results that later recommended him to Olympiacos.
According to Spanish journalist Chema de Lucas, Evans will return to Zalgiris, but he will not start the season there. Evans is expected to sign a 1+1 contract, but he will begin the season with the London Lions, while the Lithuanian team will have the option to recall him during the year.
Evans began his European journey with Igokea, played for Hapoel Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, and was part of Zalgiris from 2022 to 2024.
After a breakout last season, he transferred to Olympiakos, but two severe injuries, a patellar tendon rupture and then a rupture of his left Achilles tendon, prevented him from showcasing his skills.
Now, he will have an opportunity for a fresh start.
