Joan Penarroya confirms that Jabari Parker is out of Partizan plans

As was already known, Jabari Parker’s future with Partizan was uncertain, and Partizan’s coach himself confirmed the case.

In a preview of an interview which will be published on Sunday at Mozzartsport, Joan Penarroya stated that Parker is not part of his plans.

“This is not an easy situation. I hope we can solve it quickly, first of all for the sake of the club, but also for the sake of Jabari himself. He is a good guy,” said the Spanish coach.

Still, the decision is already made and will not change.

As Penarroya elaborated: “What I can explain is that we are building a team without Parker for the next season. That is completely clear. He has a valid contract, and I have the utmost respect for situations like this, and I respect Jabari; I repeat, he is a good guy. However, it is completely clear that we are building a team without him.”

It has to be noted that Penarroya also collaborated with Jabari Parker in Barcelona, the first club of the former NBAer in Europe, and that partnership also didn’t work out.
