As the new season approaches, teams are continuing their preparations at full speed. In a preseason game at the Gloria Cup, Anadolu Efes faced Lokomotiv Kuban. Turkish team led the game from start to finish and managed to secure an 85-74 victory.
For Anadolu Efes, Dario Saric scored 15 points with 4 rebounds, Collin Malcolm had 12 points, Santiago Yusta added 12 points with 2 rebounds, and Daron Russell contributed 11 points.
On the Lokomotiv Kuban side, Marcos Knight had 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists, Anton Kvitkovskikh scored 12 points with 2 rebounds, Andrei Lopatin added 11 points with 3 rebounds, and Alen Hadzibegovic recorded 10 points with 9 rebounds.
For Anadolu Efes, participation in the VTB Cup follows, where they will play in a group with Zenit and UNICS, while their EuroLeague campaign begins on September 24th with a match against Barcelona.
