The situation regarding the EuroLeague and Israeli teams remains unchanged. Maccabi Tel Aviv issued a statement on Saturday confirming that, following a meeting with Chus Bueno, they will still be unable to host competition games in their home country.
As has been the case in previous seasons, the Israeli clubs will have to play their home matches away from their home country due to the situation in the Middle East and the international conflict.
Club Chairman Shimon Mizrahi and Sports Director Claudio Coldebella held an extended meeting today (Saturday) in Abu Dhabi with EuroLeague CEO Mr. Chus Bueno and Competitions Director Mr. Diego Gijón regarding the return of games involving the three Israeli teams participating in EuroLeague competitions to Israel.
There have been no changes; however, CEO Mr. Bueno and Competition Director Mr. Gijón will arrive in Israel within the next two weeks for a fact-finding visit as guests of the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club.
