ASVEL owes €300,000 to Joffrey Lauvergne, and after the Frenchman’s lawsuit, ASVEL is unable to register reinforcements.

Per Eurohoops sources, the French club still owes €300,000 to the current Partizan Mozzart Bet player. The sanctions were triggered after ASVEL failed to honor two consecutive installments from a previous arrangement.

On Thursday, Tony Parker himself commented on these claims for “Bebasket”, stating that the club is aware of Lauvergne’s claims, but that the process is still ongoing and no sanctions have been imposed.

“The club is aware of the requests and claims made by Joffrey Lauvergne through the press.

As a reminder, the club and the player mutually agreed to terminate their contractual commitment early, with a compensation payment to the player by June 30, 2025.

The EuroLeague has requested additional information, which the club is currently providing.

As it stands, the ongoing procedure remains in process, no sanctions have been imposed, and no recruitment ban has been pronounced against ASVEL.

The club is in contact with the EuroLeague to provide all necessary elements for the resolution of this situation.”
