Anadolu Efes has signed Cameron Payne on a contract through the end of the 2026-27 season, the club announced.
The experienced American point guard, who played for Partizan last season, arrives to help fill the void left by Mike James following his serious Achilles injury.
With James facing a lengthy absence, Payne gives Efes another experienced option to run the offense as the Istanbul side adjusts to losing one of its key players.
The 32-year-old was selected 14th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2015 NBA Draft. He also played for the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, helping Phoenix reach the NBA Finals in 2021.
