Crvena zvezda issued a statement on Saturday regarding the situation involving its injured players.

Johnathan Motley suffered an injury during the third-round game against Anadolu Efes and will have to spend some time on the sidelines. However, Zvezda announced that three players will be available to head coach Ibon Navarro.

Those players are Nikola Djurisic, Dejan Davidovac and Patrick Baldwin Jr., who will therefore have the opportunity to make his official debut for Zvezda.

“After a detailed diagnosis, the medical team of KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet determined that our center, Johnathan Motley, suffered a hamstring injury during the game against Anadolu Efes on Thursday evening.

This type of injury requires rest and further treatment, and the club’s medical team is already implementing the necessary steps and measures for the rehabilitation and recovery of our center. The public will be promptly informed about Johnathan Motley’s return to the court.

Nikola Djurisic, Dejan Davidovac, and Patrick Baldwin started team practice with 5-on-5 drills on Saturday and are available to coach Navarro for all further activities.”

Crvena zvezda will visit FMP on Sunday in the ABA League, while on Thursday it will host Dubai in the fourth round of the EuroLeague.
