Gabriel Deck will not be present against Partizan (Thursday, October 8) or against Manresa (October 11) due to discomfort in his left shoulder.
The Argentine, already a veteran at Real Madrid, is suffering from shoulder discomfort, something he has battled with in recent seasons, and he will miss the EuroLeague and ACB commitments.
That was confirmed by coach Pedro Martinez.
“Gaby Deck suffered an injury yesterday. He will definitely not play this week; neither in tomorrow’s match nor in the weekend’s match, and we are awaiting tests that will be done today or tomorrow to know the real extent and how long he will be out.”
Deck was not in the squad against Monbus Obradoiro, just like his teammate Facu Campazzo, also part of the strong core that has brought so much success to the white team. The forward, now with a Spanish passport, will have to wait until next week to be at the orders of Pedro Martinez.
Real Madrid has not started the season as expected. After winning the EuroLeague Super Cup, they have a 0-3 record in the top European competition and two hard-fought victories in the domestic championship.
