Asvel secured a victory at the start of the fourth round of the Euroleague, winning away in a spectacular game against Paris with a score of 98-96.

The hero for the home team could have been Nadir Hifi, who took a last-second three-point shot but missed, allowing Asvel to claim their second win of the season.

Patty Mills led Asvel to victory with 21 points, Tremont Waters had 19, and Both Gach scored 17 points. On the other side, Hifi achieved a career-high with 30 points but missed the potential game-winning shot in the final moments and also lost a crucial ball, after which Waters gave the visitors the lead entering the last minute.

The French derby was a spectacle, with a flurry of three-pointers from both sides, as the two teams combined for 29 three-pointers in the game. Neither side managed to pull away earlier, so the decision came down to a dramatic finish.

Bolomboy hit one free throw to give the visitors a two-point advantage (98-96) with ten seconds remaining. Hifi attempted to be the hero but failed, allowing Tony Parker’s team to celebrate in the end.

Asvel now has a 2-2 record, while Paris has one win and three losses.
