FC Barcelona will face Zalgiris at the Palau Blaugrana for Round 4 of the 2026–27 EuroLeague Regular Season, with both teams managing significant roster changes.
The Catalan club announced on Thursday that Justin Minaya hurt the adductor muscle in his right thigh. The 27-year-old forward has averaged 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds over three games, including two starts in his debut EuroLeague campaign. Head coach Aleksander Sekulic is expected to set up the lineup without him for about ten days.
Moving into the frontcourt, both center Josh Nebo and forward Tosan Evbuomwan have progressed to being considered questionable. Nebo is attempting to work his way back from a right calf problem. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Evbuomwan is battling a left shoulder strain. If he is cleared by medical staff before tip-off, it will mark his first career appearance in Europe’s premier club competition, following 50 games played in the NBA and earning Finals Most Valuable honors during last season’s G League championship run. Yoan Makoundou remains sidelined with a left knee injury.
The visiting Lithuanian squad deals with its own setbacks in the backcourt. Saben Lee is nursing a hamstring injury, making him a game-time decision for Friday’s meeting. His teammate, Nigel Williams-Goss, will not dress for the game as he remains in Kaunas and continues to recover from a hamstring strain.
Barcelona enters this fixture tied with three other clubs in fifth place, carrying a 2–1 record. Meanwhile, Zalgiris sits further down the standings at 1–2.
