Christian Koloko has signed a contract with Crvena zvezda, announced the club from Belgrade on their social media.

After being selected in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors, Koloko played in the world’s strongest league. After two years in Canada, he strengthened the Los Angeles Lakers, for whom he played for one year. He also played for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Atlanta Hawks.

Several clubs showed interest in Koloko, but Zvezda was the most persistent and secured the signing of the 211 cm tall Cameroonian.

This signing will certainly benefit Zvezda, which has been struggling in the center position since the start of the season. Johnathan Motley suffered an injury and will be absent from the court for some time, and the same fate befell Ebuka Izundu, so Zvezda had to react urgently.

After six rounds, the red-and-whites have a 4-2 record in the EuroLeague.
