Sergio Llull talked to the show “Pick ‘N Roll” of Cosmote TV in Greece, about the NBA, his clutch shots, and Vassilis Spanoulis!

When asked about the NBA whether he thinks about it, Llull was clear: “I’ve said many times that I’m happy in Real Madrid. I think it’s the ideal team for winning titles. Real has made a great effort in keeping me, plus the fans show me lots of love everyday and that’s important to me. Afterall, you should be where you feel happy. I am, in Madrid.”

As he mentions, the Houston Rockets are pretty supportive of him as well: “They respect my decision and they never put pressure on me. It’s obvious that they watch my games and it’s normal to want me to play there. But they have always been respectful and I thank them for that.”

Llull is well known for his crazy shots, the so-called “mandarinas”! “It’s a funny nickname”, the player says. “Afterall, you just try to score when time is running out. Lately these shots are successful!”.

He’s not the only one with the clutch shot ability in European basketball, as he says: “Spanoulis is a legend, I respect him a lot. You can learn so many things from him. I hope one day I can be like him”.
