Panathinaikos wants to keep KC Rivers not only for next season but at least until the summer of 2020 and the two sides are already in talks in order to make it happen.

The current contract of the 30 years old sharp shooter included an extension option for the 2017-18 season, however the Greens are offering a three year extension to him.

There’s no deal yet between the two sides, however there’s a mutual wish to continue working together. It seems that it’s only  matter of time for the deal to happen, if the right figures are offered by the club.

Rivers averaged 11.2 ppg and 2.5 rpg in the EuroLeague during his first season with the club and also had 8.9 ppg and 2.3 rpg in the Greek League. He became a fan favorite, having played some of his best games against Olympiacos.
