Sergio Llull back in training with Real Madrid

Sergio Llull injured his right knee in August, while playing for Spain in a preparation game against Belgium and he has been sidelined ever since.

The long-awaited return of the Spanish guard is getting closer as Llull has been participating in some of the team practices as Marca reports.

This week he has already completed some training with the team. He could play in days, although in principle I don’t think it’s going to be next week. We are not going to take any risk until we believe he is a hundred percent ready“, said coach Pablo Laso.

Pablo Laso also talked about the position in which the Spanish club could finish the regular phase of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and, therefore, the different situations that could occur facing the playoff.

For us, the situation is simple, if Panathinaikos wins in Milan, we have to win on Friday and Olympiacos have to beat the Zalgiris if we want to be fourth if there are other circumstances we will be fifth. I do not think we should think beyond. The rest of the teams are also playing games, but we’ve all had 29 games to get to this situation.“, said Laso.

Given that Real’s future will depend on what the two Greek clubs do, and Laso has been ironical about the possibility that Olympiacos could lose the game so that Real Madrid finished fifth in the standings.

I believe in the ‘fair play’ of the two Greek teams and all the teams.” In relation to this question of speculation, the debate is opened as to whether or not the last day should be unified.”, concluded Laso.
