After the end of a mediocre season for Olympiacos, it’s time for the team to move forward, starting from a change in the head coach position.

Giannis Sfairopoulos’ contract is expiring and after nearly four years with the team, two Greek league titles and two Euroleague finals, the two sides are parting ways. Both sides seem to agree that a circle has been completed and both want to turn the page. The official announcement of the desicion is expected soon.

Andrea Trinchieri, Joan Plaza and Velimir Perasovic are on Olympiacos’ radar. And with Vassilis Spanoulis, Kostas Papanikolaou and Ioannis Papapetrou being free agents, the summer will be more than interesting in Piraeus.
