According to Eurohoops sources, the Greek League champions have already started negotiations with captain Nick Calathes, even before the start of the finals. Their offer is about a three-year, 6.5 million euros contract overall.

Calathes finished off a dream season, averaging 14.5 points, 8 assists and 3.8 rebounds in EuroLeague and led the Greens to a back-to-back title in the Greek League.

Per the same sources, the two sides seem to be on the same path, though a final decision hasn’t been made yet by the player’s side, since Calathes remains on the radars of Khimki and Fenerbahce.

The 29-year-old player is also waiting for the NBA Free Agency in early July, as he wishes to return to the NBA. All in all, he has to consider plenty of options before making a call.
