With Svetislav Pesic staying on the bench of Barcelona, few things are expected to change and that’s why the veteran coach is betting in continuity. According to Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” Ante Tomic will get an offer for a new contract and will remain a key part of the team.
Tomic averaged 9.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, and 1.6 asp during last season in the EuroLeague, however, he had his better games with Pesic onboard.
On the contrary, according to numerous reports, Barcelona will not pick up the extension option in Sasha Vezenkov’s contract. The 23 years old forward who was the 57th pick of last season’s NBA draft will be a free agent.
