Fenerbahce is close to finalizing a deal for a two-year contract with Canadian NBA point guard Tyler Ennis according to Eurohoops sources. The 24-year-old player is projected to replace Brad Wanamaker on the roster of the Turkish powerhouse.

Sources also tell Eurohoops that the deal includes an NBA opt-out clause that Ennis will be able to exercise in 2019.

Ennis, the 18h overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, last played with the Los Angeles Lakers. In 2017-2018, he averaged 4.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 12.6 minutes per game in 54 matches. He was a starter in 11 games.

Fenerbahce has already signed a former NBA player this offseason, French center Joffrey Lauvergne, and wants to continue with another addition from the top league on the planet. If Ennis joins the Turkish League champions he will make his debut in Europe and EuroLeague next season.
