Prior reports have been confirmed as Darussafaka announced the signing of the 26-year-old American guard Markel Brown.
Brown most recently played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G-League in which he averaged 15.9 points, five rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
He also appeared in four games for the Houston Rockets. Brown is expected to join his former teammate Cory Jefferson in Turkey.
